Beautiful Beaches, Dutiful Butlers
Central to the relaxed allure of every Tides property is a memorable beachfront experience that intuitively delivers on guests' needs. The Tides Zihuatanejo's newly enhanced beachfront lives up to this expectation with a number of improvements, such as a high-noon complimentary refreshment service. To ensure uninterrupted tanning time, Beach Butlers offer tanning products, neck cushions, pre-loaded iPods and pool and ocean-side dining and cocktail services. After dark, The Tides Zihuatanejo's sparkling stretch of sand succumbs to the sultry mystique of the sense of the night. Beach butlers attend to every comfort and take orders for libations of every variety at the lounge. Trained by Robert Watson, founder of "The Guild of Professional English Butlers," The Tides' new Mayordomos are available to guests of the resort's Presidential Suite, with plans for a suite-wide offering. Delivering advanced service, Mayordomos anticipate guests' every need and are on call 24/7, attending every request from in-suite dining to airport transfers.

Sea Turtle Nesting Program
Playa La Ropa beach at The Tides Zihuatanejo hotel on Mexico's Pacific Coast is a natural breeding and nesting site for the Leatherback Turtle. The largest of the seven species of marine turtle, the leatherback is the only marine turtle that is not a hard-shell and derives its name from the appearance of its shell.

Classified by the World Conservation Union (the world's largest and most important conservation network), as critically-endangered, The Tides in Zihuatanejo continues to allocate resources to care for the species' eggs and hatching processes. The resort's nursery and incubation facilities protect the turtles' eggs from potentially harmful poachers.

Fruits of the Sea
The Tides name evokes coastal serenity and ocean-inspired pleasures – which inevitably means only the freshest seafood. The resort's new brand-signature La Marea restaurant, offers a beach club ambience and carefully crafted menus of Mediterranean/Mexican fare. To oversee the transformation of the resort's kitchen, Chef Robbin Haas (of South Beach "Mango Gang" fame) has lent his culinary expertise, as he did for La Marea's opening at The Tides South Beach. Continuing the name trend, the Coral Bar offers colorful ceviche selections comprised of daily creations and a Tequila Maestro who facilitates tastings of Mexico's world-famous spirit in a variety of premium offerings, including blanco, reposado and añejo tequilas.

Private Lagoon Dinner
For the ultimate romantic dining experience, the resort offers a private lagoon dinner. Anchored in the resort's tranquil lagoon, an intimate island (the dinner's setting), is quietly accessed by canoe where couples dine amidst lush foliage alive with candles, music and are discreetly waited-on by your own private server.

Holistic Wellness
The resort's intimate spa has been re-envisioned to include hacienda-like interiors, updated spa suites and an inspiring relaxation lounge. The Tides Zihuatanejo spa is the first spa, world-wide, to offer guests a Tides Signature Lava Shell Therapy massage, a sustainable treatment utilizing only self-heating sea-shells in its process. Also, The Tides Zihuatanejo is the first property to launch a brand-wide line of marine-derived, sustainable wellness products by Osea.

The Tides Rising
