The Tides Riviera Maya is Ranked #1 in Mexico by Condé Nast Traveler's 2008 Readers' Choice Awards; The Tides Zihuatanejo Places #12

October 23, 2008 (Playa del Carmen, Mexico) – The discriminating readers of Condé Nast Traveler have made their choice -- The Tides Riviera Maya now ranks as the #1 resort in Mexico, and sister property The Tides Zihuatanejo ranks #12, in the magazine's 21st Annual Readers' Choice Awards of the world’s best in travel. To claim its leading spot in the "Top 25 Mexico Resorts" category, the serene jungle hideaway outside Playa del Carmen received an overall rating of 94.7, tying with One&Only Palmilla resort for voters' highest praise. On the Pacific coast, The Tides Zihuatanejo’s romantic setting won it a place only slightly down the list, with an overall rating of 88.5.
